Ocean View, Hawaii is located in Ka’u district on the Island of Hawai’i. This area is the southern most district of the island. Originally, part of the vast ranch lands of the Kahuku Ranch, Ocean View has become one the fastest growing communities in the Ka’u district. Ocean View is made up of a small business district, and four subdivisions: Hawaiian Ocean View Estates (H.O.V.E), Hawaiian Ocean View Ranchos (H.O.V.R.), Kula Kai Estates, and Kona Gardens.

The Desert Rose Cafe is an excellent local restaurant. I had a nice pasta dish there… very ono!

Anuenue Natural Market/Deli/Bakery is an awesome place to get fresh baked goods, and your favorite natural products. I highly recommend the cookies.

Ocean View Pizzeria, make sure to stop for a slice, next to the Vet Clinic, Kahuku Market, Ka’u Credit Union, and Solar Works.
